मुंबई, २४ मार्च: करोना व्हायरसला रोखण्यामध्ये मास्क अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण आहे. त्यामुळे बाजारपेठेमध्ये मास्कला मोठया प्रमाणात मागणी आहे. मागणी वाढत असल्याने मास्कचा काळाबाजार सुरु आहे. दरम्यान मुंबईचे पोलीस आयुक्त परमबीर सिंग यांच्या सूचनेवरुन मास्कचा काळाबाजार करणाऱ्या एका टोळीला अटक करण्यात आली आहे.

मुंबई पोलिसांनी वांद्रे येथे मोठी कारवाई करत सुमारे १५ ते २० कोटी रुपये किंमतीचे २५ लाख मास्क जप्त केले आहेत. सध्या बाजारात मास्कचा तुटवडा भासत आहे. काळाबाजार करण्याच्या हेतूने हा साठा करण्यात आल्याची माहिती पोलिसांना मिळाली होती. या गोपनीय माहितीच्या आधारे मुंबई गुन्हे शाखेच्या ९ क्रमांकाच्या यूनीटने ही कारवाई केली. मुख्यमंत्री उद्धव ठाकरे आणि गृहमंत्री अनिल देशमुख यांनी पोलिसांचे कौतुक केले आहे.
