ऑन्टिजीया, ०४ मार्च: वेस्ट इंडिज विरुद्ध श्रीलंका अशी तीन टी-२० सामन्यांची मालिका खेळली जात आहे. या मालिकेच्या पहिल्याच सामन्यात इतिहास रचला गेला आहे. वेस्ट इंडिजच्या कायरन पोलार्डने युवराज सिंगच्या विक्रमाची बरोबरी केली आहे. त्याने एका षटकात ६ षटकार खेचले आहेत. श्रीलंकन गोलंदाज अकिला धनंजय याने घेतलेल्या हॅट्रीकने वेस्ट इंडिजवर चांगलाच दबाव निर्माण झाला होता. विशेष म्हणजे त्यानंतर याच अकिला धनंजयला कायरन पोलार्डयाने ६ षटकार ठोकले. या ऐतिहासिक कामगिरिबद्दल पोलर्डला मॅन ऑफ द मॅच पुरस्कार देण्यात आला. यापुर्वी भारताच्या युवराज आणि दक्षिण आफ्रिकेच्या हर्षल गिब्ज यांनी ही कामगिरी केली होती. आता कायरन पोलार्डचे नाव या यादीत जोडले गेले आहे.
